Workington part company with manager Darren Edmondson

Workington have parted company with manager Darren Edmondson after a difficult start to the season.
Edmondson returned to the club for a second spell over the summer. He had previously been the Reds' longest-serving manager, taking charge of the club between 2007-13.
However, he has endured a difficult return to Borough Park, picking up just one win and six points from their 11 league games.
Edmondson leaves with the club 20th in the Northern Premier League.
Brian Dawson and Billy Redden will take charge of first team affairs on an interim basis, as they did following the departure of Edmondson's predecessor Mark Fell towards the end of last season.
The decision to part ways with Edmondson was announced on Friday evening, with the Reds not in action until October 18.
In a short statement, the club said: "The club has this evening parted company with manager Darren Edmondson following the poor start to the season.
"We wish to place on record our thanks for all his efforts and hard work and wish Darren all the very best for the future."
