Ashton move for Mickleover forward

Milner, 24, netted twice for Mickleover as they finished in 12th place in the Northern Premier League Premier Division last season.

Rising through the ranks at Stockport County and Chesterfield's Academy, Milner featured for both Buxton and Clipstone on dual registration durning the 2016/17 season.

The forward earned his first professional contract with Norwegian club Valdres FK, scoring 12 goals in 26 appearances despite being utilised as a midfielder.

Milner returned to the UK during the 2017/18 season and featured for Frickley Athletic and Buxton.

In 2019, he joined Belper Town where he became a regular name on the team sheet. He scored 6 times in 34 appearances for the Nailers.

He linked up with Mickleover prior to the 2020/21 season and has made 31 appearances, scoring 3 times.
