Belper Town midfielder departs

Belper Town have confirmed the departure of midfielder Derry Robson from the club.

The versatile central midfielder featured in 31 matches in all competitions for The Nailers during his time at the club, scoring two vital goals in his last campaign.

Robson has previously played for Pontefract Collieries, Sheffield FC and more recently, Belper Town.

He enjoyed a long stay at Goole AFC, having a short spell as manager of The Vikings during his time there.

Robson was also part of the promotion winning side that saw Belper Town make it to the NPL Premier Division last season, beating Chasetown 1-0 in the playoff final.
