Bootle duo exits club

Bootle have confirmed the departures of Billy Reeves and Tom Moore.

Both players joined the club in the summer, with Reeves going on to make 11 appearances and Moore with eight.

Following the recent exit of manager Dave McNabb, both players made clear to the club about their intentions to find new opportunities.

In a statement, a Bootle spokesperson said: “Following the departure of our former manager, both players immediately expressed their desire to leave the club. These conversations took place prior to any new manager being discussed.

“The club agreed both players could leave on the condition that both would commit to fulfil our FA Trophy fixture against Bamber Bridge.

“The club have upheld the agreement made and a deal for the transfer of their contracts has now been made. We would like to thank both players for their professionalism shown, and wish them both well for the future.”
