Bradford City pair make Brighouse move

Brighouse Town have confirmed the signings of two Bradford City players ahead of the upcoming season.

Midfielder Jack Wilson, 19, joins the Brig after being released from the Bantams earlier this summer.

He joined the club on loan at the start of the year, going on to make five appearances and scoring three goals.

Joining him at The Heffernan Utilities Stadium next season is Sam Bentley.

The 18-year-old defender won Bradford City's Academy Player of the Year award last season and will continue his development under the leadership of Vill Powell.

He recently featured in the Bantams' 1-1 draw against Bradford (Park Avenue) in their pre-season preparations.

Both youngsters will be in contention for Brighouse Town's first fixture of the season as they travel to Ashington on Saturday afternoon.
