Dabbers bring in new number one

Former Barrow goalkeeper Scott Maloney has joined Pitching In NPL West Division side Nantwich Town.

The 23-year-old spent his youth career at Hartlepool and Bury, playing in the first team for the latter on a couple of occasions.

He also spent time at Skelmersdale United on loan.

In 2020, Maloney moved to Barrow and made a total of four appearances for the League Two side.

He had recent loan spells at South Shields and Guiseley, but will now link up with Paul Carden's Dabbers as they look to seal a return to the Northern Premier League at the first attempt.
