Fawns swaps Mossley for Bootle

Mossley midfielder Mason Fawns has left the club to join fellow Pitching In NPL West Division side Bootle.

Fawns, who scored 26 goals in 71 appearances in a Mossley shirt, helped the club finish seventh last season, five points adrift of the play-offs.

The former Ramsbottom United man is one of a number of signings made by Bootle in recent days, with Billy Reeves, Johnny Hunt and Andy Hollins also arriving at the Berry Street Garage Stadium.

The Bucks have also retained the services of defender Jacques Welsh ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
