Gresley bring in full-back reinforcements

Gresley Rovers have completed the loan signing of Harvey Ridgley from Basford United.

His loan will initially run until January 3, with the Pitching In NPL Midlands Division strugglers set to play six league fixtures between now and then, weather permitting.

The full-back, who is a product of Basford’s successful academy system, has enjoyed previous loan spells with Long Eaton United and Loughborough Dynamo.

He goes straight into their squad ahead of Saturday's clash with Coleshill Town at the Moat Ground.

Rovers are currently second-bottom in the NPL Midlands Division, having lost six straight league matches by an aggregate score of 27-5.

They have shipped 51 goals so far this term - 12 more than any other side in the division.
