Halesowen welcome experienced winger

Halesowen Town have announced the signing of Greg Mills.

Mills, 32, was most recently at Southern Premier League side Stourbridge for his second spell at the club.

He made 57 appearances and scored 27 times over his duration at the Glassboys.

The Leicester born winger, who progressed through the ranks at Derby County, has plyed his trade at numerous clubs across the football pyramid including Telford, Worcester City, Tamworth, Nuneaton Town, Darlington and Bromsgrove Sporting.

Most notably, in 2014, Mills joined Corby Town where he went on to score 46 goals across 113 appearances, earning promotion to the National League North.

Mills could feature in Halesowen Town's next fixture away at Bedworth at the weekend, with the Yeltz hoping to take the top spot away from current leaders Spalding United.
