Hughes rejoins Walsall Wood

Walsall Wood have announced that defender Matty Hughes has returned to the club from Redditch United.
Hughes left the Wood to join Southern Premier Division Central side Redditch United in July 2023.
Last season, Hughes featured in all 38 games in the Walsall Wood's Midland League Premier Division campaign and scored 5 goals as his side secured promotion to the Northern Premier League.
His return will be a boost to Harry Harris' side who currently find themselves in 14th place with just two wins under their belt.
Hughes will go into contention for their next fixture in the league away at Loughborough Dynamo this Saturday.
