Jody Banim departs Stafford Rangers

Stafford Rangers have announced that manager Jody Banim has left the club.

Banim was appointed manager in July this year, having previously managed Ashton United to their promotion-winning year to the National League North.

Stafford Rangers shared on social media: "Directors have decided to terminate the appointment of Jody Banim as first team manager with immediate effect. Matty Hill will take over on an interim basis with support of Paul Hayward.

"We thank Jody for his services to the club and we wish Matty success as interim manager."

The Marston Road side sit at the bottom of the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division table, having failed to record a win in the league.

Stafford reached the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup, before being knocked out 4-1 by Skelmersdale United.
