Nantwich Town sign goalkeeper Cameron Terry

Nantwich Town have announced the signing of goalkeeper Cameron Terry for the Pitching In Northern Premier League 2021/22 season.

The former Widnes man signs with the Dabbers following a successful trial period in pre-season.

Terry spent his youth years at Bolton, Burnley and Bury, before joining Altrincham where he was the first player born in 2000 to sign for the Robins first team. At age 18 he was number one for Clitheroe during the 18/19 season. More recently he was at Widnes.

Manager Dave Cooke said: “We’re thrilled to get Cameron on board as our number one for the season. I think everyone who has seen him in our games can agree that he’s performed exceedingly well during his trial period.

"He’s played for Clitheroe and Widnes and in that time, he’s got some great experience in the league below which is great. He’s really impressed me and the backroom staff, so we’re so pleased to be able to have him in our side."
