Despite FA Trophy first round fixtures taking place this weekend, there are still nine crucial Northern Premier League points up for grabs.

With league leaders Radcliffe in cup action, second-placed Warrington Rylands have the opportunity to close the eight-point gap at the top when they travel to Lancaster City, who currently sit 14th.

The Blues conceded a late equaliser at Bamber Bridge in midweek but could still extend their unbeaten league run to 13 games on Saturday.

Towards the bottom of the table, Bradford Park Avenue welcome Marske United to Horsfall Stadium.

The home side need a win to climb above this weekend's visitors and out of the relegation zone - something they have failed to do since the start of September.

Enjoying a mini-resurgence of late, last season’s play-off semi-finalists Gainsborough Trinity will be hoping to make it six games unbeaten in all competitions when they visit Whitby Town.

Only a point separates the two sides, with a win good enough to see either of them climb to the top half of the division.
