Having tasted defeat in the Manchester Premier Cup at the hands of Chadderton in midweek, league leaders Radcliffe will hope to return to winning ways at Matlock Town on Saturday.

Last season's beaten play-off semi-finalists, the Gladiators have endured a mixed start to 2023/24 but have managed to pick up form in recent weeks, winning three of their last five matches in all competitions and losing just once.

Eight points further back from the Boro, Warrington Rylands will look to apply pressure at the top as Guiseley visit Gorsey Lane.

A win could see the Lions end the weekend in the play-off spots, should other results go their way.

Another of the teams that would climb into the top-five with a win on Saturday is Hyde United. The Tigers lock horns with neighbours FC United of Manchester, in what is sure to be an eagerly-anticipated affair at Broadhurst Park.

Elsewhere, there's lots to play for at the wrong end of the table as Bradford Park Avenue make the trip to Greenwich Avenue to face Basford United.

Avenue sit a point ahead of the bottom four but could find themselves in the relegation places, should they fail to defeat the Basford and Marske United beat a Macclesfield side led by Alex Bruce and a new-look management team for the first time.

Whitby Town, Marine and Worksop Town are in FA Cup first round action this weekend, meaning there are no games for Workington, Morpeth Town and Stafford Rangers.
