Player movement aplenty at FC United

Chester FC goalkeeper Wyll Stanway has joined FC United of Manchester on a one-month loan deal.

He comes in to fill the void left by regular keeper Dan Lavercombe, who will be sidelined for around two weeks after fracturing his finger against Curzon Ashton in the Emirates FA Cup.

Stanway is likely to make his debut away at Warrington Town this weekend.

He could be joined in the side by Doncaster Rovers loanee Tavonga Kuleya, who arrived at Broadhurst Park but has yet to feature for Neil Reynolds’ side.

In other news, the Reds have also announced the departure of right-back Clive Smith, winger Edy Maieco, forward Jack Anderton and midfielder Tom Murray.

Mwiya Mulumba has also left the club after one sole substitute appearance, while Jonathan Smith is less likely to feature due to an increase in work and media commitments.
