Premier Division preview: Dabbers ready to host high-flyers

By James Gordon

There is just one match taking place in the Northern Premier League this evening as in-form Gainsborough Trinity visit Nantwich Town.

Trinity would go top of the table with victory tonight.

They have risen up the division in recent weeks, largely thanks to a run of three consecutive league wins.

They have lost just twice in the Northern Premier League this season and have only failed to score in one match since the beginning of September.

Nantwich Town have also found form of late after a difficult start to the season, winning their last three matches in all competitions.

Saturday’s impressive 3-0 victory over Morpeth Town saw them leapfrog Liversedge into 20th in the table, although they remain 15 points adrift of Tuesday night’s visitors to the Weaver Stadium.
