A product of the Liverpool academy, Hammill, 34, has played across the UK throughout his career but is perhaps most well known for featuring 164 times for Barnsley over three spells, one of which was on loan.
He also has Premier League experience under his belt, making 23 appearances for Wolves between 2011-13.
Despite coming through the Liverpool system, he never made a first team appearance for the Reds, and was instead sent out on loan to Dunfermline, Southampton, Blackpool and Barnsley.
Having enjoyed minutes for England U19s earlier in his career, Hammill made his U21s debut for the Three Lions in 2011, coming on as a 74th minute substitute against Iceland.
The experienced winger spent last season at Derry City, scoring once in 11 appearances, but will now make the move to the Pitching In NPL West Division outfit ahead of the new campaign.
He will be joined at the Pesky Bulls by nephew James Hammill, who can operate across the forward line.
