Radcliffe move for National League North forward

Radcliffe have secured the services of striker Joe Piggot from AFC Fylde.

The 23-year-old departs the National League North side after eight-months, where he made six appearances and scored three times.

A former Everton and Rochdale academy player, the striker made his professional debut for Dundee United in a 3-1 victory over Alloa Athletic in 2017.

Piggott has also featured at Step 3 for Warrington Town, where, after making 21 appearances and scoring four goals, he joined Wigan Athletic.

During his time at Latics, he enjoyed multiple loan spells to Morecambe, Altrincham and Stockport County.

Piggott will be hoping to add more goals at the Neuven Stadium this season, with Bobby Grant's side currently sitting in fourth place in the Northern Premier League.

He will go into contention for their trip to Belper Town tomorrow evening.
