Shildon AFC Look to the Future

Shildon AFC is continuing to plan for the future with two new deals already in place with players.

Alex White and Dean Thexton have both agreed to new contracts with the Club recently and Sam Barker has arrived from Pickering Town.

Further work is going on behind the scenes to secure additional deals with players and the Management Team are actively looking to attract new players to the Club as well as promoting players from the Reserves.

Shildon AFC Reserves have a new management structure in place and results are already encouraging with the aim that players will be able to make the step up to the first team.

The Club has also recognised the need to develop Dean Street, new perimeter fencing is in place, the work of the community garden and multi-sports 2G pitch is nearing completion and work has begun on new changing facilities for players and officials.

All of this provides stability for the future and enables us to continue to compete in the PitchingIn Northern Premier League.
