Sponsorship boost as striker returns

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Coalville Town are celebrating the signing of a stadium naming rights deal and the return of talismatic striker Ryan Robbins.

After helping the Ravens reach the FA Vase Final in 2011 and win promotion to the EVO-STIK NPL, the hot-shot was welcomed back this week only hours after local company Mander Cruickshank Solicitors was unveiled as the main stadium sponsor of their Owen Street home on Monday.

The ground, pictured below, will be known as the Mander Cruickshank Solicitors Stadium from December 1 after the legal firm stepped up their involvement with the EVO-STIK NPL Premier Division club on Monday having previously sponsored the Ravens 7 Junior Tournament.

Coalville Town chairman Glyn Rennocks said “We are delighted that Mander Cruickshank Solicitors have agreed to become a partner of the club and to attract one of the town’s most well-known businesses is very pleasing. We look forward to a great relationship and thank them for their support.”

Paul Tubb, one of the partners at Mander Cruickshank Solicitors, said: “We are fully aware of Coalville Town’s reputation as a first class football club and of its long association and contribution to the town of Coalville.

"We are proud to associate ourselves with the club, which in turn will support the local community; for in addition to the first team and advanced development squad, the club has a fantastic array of youth and female teams with hundreds of local players of all ages involved every week throughout the 26 different squads."

He added: "We are confident that this will be a successful association and wish the club continuing success both on and off the pitch.”

Robbins is back after leaving Stamford at the end of their Emirates FA Cup following the EVO-STIK NPL's First Division South club's 3-0 exit at League Two Hartlepool United on Sunday in the first round proper

The forward left Coalville Town in 2013 for Barwell, Boston United and Stamford where he enjoyed three prolific seasons. Now 28, he's also turned out for Leicester Nirvana, Oadby Town, Friar Lane & Epworth, Highfield Rangers and Racing Club Warwick before first finding fame with the Ravens.
