Stalybridge left-back leaves on dual-registration

Stalybridge Celtic left-back John Pritchard has joined Glossop North End on dual-registration.

Previously a Northern Premier League winner with Ashton United, Pritchard arrived at Bower Fold in July and featured for the club in multiple pre-season friendlies.

He brought with him a wealth of experience, having spent time at Chester, Matlock Town and Radcliffe, amongst others, earlier in his career.

However, the 27-year-old has yet to make a league appearance for Celtic and has subsequently been sent on loan to the NWCFL.

Glossop, relegated from Step 4 last season, have struggled in the early weeks of the season, winning just two of their opening 10 league games.

Pritchard made his North End debut in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Wythenshawe Town FC - Stalybridge boss James Kinsey's former club.
