Stalybridge secure new striker

Stalybridge Celtic have confirmed the signing of striker Cameron Darkwah.

Darkwah, 29, started his career in Stockport County's youth system before making his first team debut in a 2-1 victory over Barnet in 2010.

The striker enjoyed various loan spells at Mossley, Halifax and Colwyn Bay before securing a move to Chorley in 2013.

Darkwah assisted in Chorley's promotion Northern Premier League title winning campaign where they moved into the National League North before rejoining with Colwyn Bay.

He has most recently been involved at North West Counties Football League clubs Stockport Town and Abbey Hay.

Speaking to the club website following his move, Darkwah said: "I am looking forward to my new challenge and to bringing success back to Stalybridge"
