Stamford AFC manager David Batch has secured hot-shot Ryan Robbins for the next EVO-STIK Northern Premier League campaign.

The former Coalville Town and Friar Lane & Epworth striker scored 21 goals last season and is pictured putting pen-to-paper on a new deal at the Zeeco Stadium on Thursday after helping the Daniels escape relegation on the final day of the season when he scored the first goal in a 3-2 home win over Witton Albion as they came back from two goals down at half-time.

In a statement released by delighted Daniels officials, Hatch said he believed the 27-year-old, who signed for the club in August 2013, could only get better after receiving his international call up in March to play for St Kitts & Nevis in two World Cup qualifiers.

Staff said: “It's good to have Ryan here for another season. We want people to contribute and he does that with his goals. He was prolific again last season and I still think there is room for improvement in his game, and he'll get better as we do.”
