Trio of signings at Warrington Rylands

Duffy, 38, joins the Blues after a brief spell out of the game following his managerial departure from Macclesfield.

The former Sheffield United midfielder took over the reins of the Silkmen in May 2023 and parted ways with the club in October.

Joining him at Gorsey Lane is left-sided player Ethan Young.

The 20-year-old defender was most recently at National League North side Scunthorpe United, after joining the club as a youth player in 2020 from Lincoln City.

He signed a professional contract with the Iron in April 2022 and went on to make eight appearances.

In March 2023, he joined the then-Northern Premier League side Yaxley on loan where he featured seven times before leaving his parent club in September.

His arrival will help plug the defensive gap left behind by Matty Regan who will be absent for the rest of the season through injury.

Michael Clegg has also sharpened his attacking threat with the signing of Florian Yonsian.

Yosnian, 23, has previously worked under Clegg during their time together at Ashton United during the 2021/22 season, with the attacker scoring 12 times in 36 appearances.

Born in Ivory Coast, he is a former Rochdale Academy product who appeared three times in the EFL Trophy during the 2018/19 season.

After his release from the Dale, he featured for the likes of Salford City, Stafford Rangers, Marine, Trafford and Stalybridge Celtic.

All three will go into contention for Rylands’ next fixture away at FC United of Manchester in the Northern Premier League on Saturday.
