Trio of signings for Grantham Town

Grantham Town have announced three new signings ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 NPL season.

Arriving at the South Kesteven Sports Stadium is defender Tommason Zerboni, forward Gregg Smith and Sebastian Robbemond.

Zerboni joins the Gingerbreads from Grimsby Town where he mainly operated as a left-back.

Smith, meanwhile, returns to the club after a short spell with Corby Town. The forward joined Grantham in March last season from Basford United, going on to make eight appearances and scoring one goal.

The 33-year-old is well-versed in non-league football from his time at the likes of King’s Lynn Town, Spalding United, Stamford, Boston United, Tamworth and Gainsborough.

Dynamic defender Robbemond also makes the move after joining from Northern Counties East Football League side Armthorpe Welfare.

Born in Australia, he played for various Australian teams including the Academy of Football Australia prior to his move to the UK. He has featured in all of Grantham Town’s pre-season fixtures so far.
