Two join Boro

Devitt, a defender, has previously featured for Gateshead and Blyth Spartans, while goalkeeper Allinson has played between the sticks for Huddersfield, Chesterfield and Gainsborough.

On the latest signings and ahead of their North Riding FA Senior Cup clash at Marske United, Scarborough Manager Darren Kelly said: "We have only had a couple of pre-season games before this one, which is similar to Marske, so neither team will be at 100% yet. It is a cup semi-final though, so the adrenaline will be flowing, despite the sharpness not being completely there".

"It is a chance to get into the final of a cup competition, but it is against a strong Marske side, who will be looking to take our scalp. We have to be at the top of our game and show a professional attitude, which is what we demand from the players and what we will get."
