Winger makes Silverlands switch

Buxton

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Buxton have snapped up winger Carlos Logan from Premier Division rivals Ashton United.

Manchester-born Logan kicked off his career with Manchester City where he came up through the junior ranks. The 27-year-old could make his debut on Saturday when manager Martin McIntosh takes the Bucks to Trafford.

Following a loan stint at Chesterfield after leaving City, the winger joined Darlington in 2005 where he teamed up with Bucks assistant manager Tim Ryan. He made forty-two Football League appearances for the Quakers and scored four goals before moving on to Bradford City, Altrincham, pictured, Barrow AFC, Hyde, Northwich Victoria and Droylsden.

Logan switched to Ashton United in the summer and impressed McIntosh when the Robins visited Silverlands in a league clash earlier this season.
