2011/12 Fixtures

Summary of opening day.

The Evo-Stik League fixtures for the 2011/12 season have been released.

The opening day sees some juicy fixtures, not least at the Deva Stadium where Premier Division new boys Chester and Rushall Olympic kick the season off in front of what should be a bumper crowd.

Recently relegated Stafford Rangers make their return to the Northern Premier League at home to the well-followed FC United of Manchester, while relocated Hednesford Town travel to Bradford Park Avenue. Last year's First Division North play-off winners Chorley visit North Ferriby.

Notable opening day fixtures in the First Division include the newly-formed Ilkeston FC hosting Goole AFC in the South, while promoted Coalville Town welcome Market Drayton Town to Owen Street. New Mills have a trip to Leicestershire to face Quorn, while relegated Hucknall Town visit Romulus.

The North section of Division One sees Ossett Town - relegated last season - face off against Mossley, and promoted Farsley FC welcome Lancaster City. Last season's runners-up Skelmersdale United play host to Harrogate Railway Athletic, while losing play-off finalists AFC Fylde take on Garforth Town.
