Bury's Luca Navarro heads to the NPL West
NPL West Division side Stafford Rangers have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Luca Navarro from Bury.
Navarro joined the Shakers back in February. In doing so, he became the first signing made by Anthony Johnson following his arrival as manager.
He made 22 appearances during his time at Salford Van Hire Gigg Lane, helping the club secure promotion to Step 3, but has seen his game time limited this season.
The 26-year-old, who came through the academies of Hull City and Bolton Wanderers, will now return to Marston Road for his second spell.
“Luca is a player we have admired as a management team for a long time, and we have all worked incredibly hard over the last 48 hours to make this happen," said George Stephens, Stafford Rangers head of recruitment & player liaison.
"As part of our long-term vision, it is vitally important that we only bring players to the football club who improve the current group and fit in with our recruitment criteria.
