Dutch defender joins Matlock Town
Matlock Town have signed defender Levi Andoh following his departure from Kettering Town.
The Dutchman, 26, arrives at the club having spent much of his career playing at a higher level for the likes of York City, Hereford, Truro City and Darlington.
Matlock, who have recruited heavily over the summer after falling short in last season's NPL East Division play-offs at the semi-final stage, say Andoh is a "proven performer throughout the non-league pyramid".
On the arrival of the 6'4 defender, the club added: "A commanding presence, pace, technical quality and tactical intelligence, make him a versatile defender capable of adapting to a variety of systems."
He becomes the second Dutch player in a matter of days to link up with the Gladiators, following on from the arrival of ex-Marine midfielder Jed Abbey.
The club were also rocked in recent days by the retirement of key forward Jonny Margetts at the of 32.
