Ewan Bange swaps Brig for Yellows
Warrington Town have completed the signing of Bamber Bridge striker Ewan Bange.
Bange joins the Yellows having netted 15 goals last season for Brig in the Northern Premier League.
Previously a title-winner with Radcliffe, he came through the youth system at Blackpool and has also played in the National League North with Radcliffe and AFC Telford United.
The 24-year-old becomes the fifth signing of the summer for a Warrington Town side hoping to improve on last season's mid-table finish.
Winger Jack Goodwin has joined the club from Prescot Cables, as has former Cables team-mate Alex McNally.
The Yellows have also brought in highly-rated midfielder Lewis Earl from Bootle, as well as Lancaster City midfielder Bobby Bjork.
The arrival of frontman Bange comes after a season which saw his new club net just 43 goals in 40 games - the joint-second-fewest tally of any side in the division.
“I’ve always enjoyed coming here as a player," he said.
"It’s always been a good setup. I like the way the stadium is, I like the crowd and the energy.
"Obviously I know Cards [manager Paul Carden] from when I was at Telford and we didn’t get enough time together because I got recalled, but I always liked the way he coached, the way he takes the training sessions and I just thought it’d be the right fit for me.
“I’ve got the experience of winning this league, so hopefully I can bring that to the team. I have that ambition.
"I play my best football when I’m enjoying it, and if I’m in an environment where I am enjoying it, I’ll be playing well and hopefully pushing up the leagues with the same club, and hopefully it’s Warrington.”
