Avro bolster attacking threat

Avro have confirmed the signing of forward Kyle Hawley from New Mills FC.

The 23-year-old striker began his career at Morecambe, graduating through the Shrimps' academy and eventually making his professional debut in a 3-1 defeat to Cheltenham Town in 2017.

During his time at Morecambe, Hawley enjoyed multiple loan spells at clubs in the Northern Premier League such as Witton Albion, Lancaster City and FC United of Manchester.

Following the end of his contract with the EFL outfit, he joined Stalybridge Celtic in 2020 before moving to Glossop North End a few months later.

In 2021, Hawley linked up with North West Counties League Division One South side New Mills.

He finished the season as the club's top goalscorer with 15 goals in 31 appearances.

Hawley returns to the Northern Premier League with Avro who find themselves in third place. He will go into contention for their next fixture away at Chasetown on Saturday.
