After returning to the Keys Park in September 2017 following the departure of Neil Tooth, the duo, pictured, have have agreed new deals for the 2018-19 campaign after meeting with the EVO-STIK League Premier Division club's chairman Steve Price to discuss their futures.
As the Pitmen start preparing for life outside the NPL following the Football Association's restructuring of Non-League's Steps 3 and 4 this summer, Smith told the club's official website he was hungry for success next season.
The Pitmen boss, pictured, said: “I’ve still got lots of ambition to do well with this football club and we really think that we can do that. Yes, it is going to be a new and interesting competition for us but with a competitive budget behind us I feel as if we can push on.
“There is though, a big re-building job that is now required as the way that the last season tailed off just simply wasn’t good enough. I’d like to just say to supporters, whether it be those who have stuck with us or may have stopped following the club for whatever reason, please do come and get behind us when we return to action in the summer.”
