Durham City AFC - Club Statement

It is with regret that Durham City AFC can announce that they have parted company with joint manager Lee Collings. Former Sunderland AFC star Dickie Ord now takes sole charge of team affairs.

The club would like to sincerely thank Lee for his contribution, effort, and loyalty during his involvement at Durham City. We would like to wish Lee every success for the future.

However, we have to move on, and with Dickie developing the current young and improving team of players, the board would like to wish him every success in his role.

The team have won their last two games without conceding a goal, and sit just below the Evo-Stik league Division One North play-off positions. With a number of players due back from injury and suspension, the club is keen to continue progressing both on and off the field.
