FC Thun Train At Nantwich

Swiss side prepared for Europa League tie with Stoke City

Nantwich Town FC were pleased to host FC Thun on their visit to England yesterday to take on Stoke City in the UEFA Europa League.

The Swiss side took advantage of the excellent facilities at the Weaver Stadium where the players prepared for the big match with a light training session.

As a gesture of thanks FC Thun Manager Bernard Challendes presented Dabbers' boss Jimmy Quinn with a shirt from the Swiss side - signed by all the players. Sadly for the Swiss, the session did little to aid Thun's plight as they went down 4-1 to the Potters at the Britannia Stadium.
