Josh King makes Dunston Move

Dunston have announced the month-long loan signing of Josh King from Northern Premier League side Morpeth Town.

The 23-year old centre-back’s loan was confirmed on Monday before he went on to make his debut in their 2-0 win at Brighouse Town on the same night.

The former York City defender is capable of playing in a variety of positions, including right-back and midfield.

Dunston currently sit 5th in the Pitching In NPL East Division, two points behind league leaders Belper Town.

Dunston manager Jon McDonald said: “Josh is a good young centre-back. He’s got good calibre having been at York City as a professional.

“With injuries and unavailability, this is a great loan move for us.”
