Meppen-Walters commits future to Nantwich Town

Nantwich Town have announced that Courtney Meppen-Walters has signed a new contract with the club until the end of the 2024/25 season.

The 29-year-old defender initially joined the Dabbers on loan from Guiseley in December 2023, before making the move permanent in January.

Since then, the former Stockport and Chorley player has featured 18 times for Paul Carden's side, scoring once in a 4-2 victory over Stalybridge Celtic.

On his new contract with the Dabbers, Meppen-Walters said: "I’m really happy to be here for another year.

"I’m enjoying my football and really excited to see what we can do next year with a full season to go at. I’m dreading pre-season already though!"

Nantwich Town travel to face Widnes in their final fixture of the Northern Premier League season this Saturday.
