Ossett show support for local community

Ossett United exceeded all expectations with a pre-Christmas collection for the local community foodbank.

The NPL East Division side held the collection at their recent home league game against Winterton Rangers, which they won 4-2, leading 4-0 at half time.

Foodbank manager Peter Moore said: "Over the years we have come to value the contributions of Ossett United and we are grateful to the Club's Officials, players, members and supporters for their generosity which is very much appreciated".
