Pontefract boost midfield area with new loan signing

Pontefract Collieries have signed Darlington midfielder Hayden Lindley on loan until the end of the season.

Previous an FA Youth cup winner with Aston Villa, he went on to feature twice for the first team before joining Newport County on loan.

This season, Lindley has made 14 appearances for National League North side Darlington but will now make the move to West Yorkshire to bolster Craig Rouse's squad for the final few weeks of the Pitching In NPL East Division season.

Despite sitting some way behind league leaders Stockton Town, Colls are still firmly in the hunt for a play-off spot with six league games left to play.
