Pontefract bring in towering forward

Pontefract Collieries have bolstered their frontline with the signing of Bailey Thompson.

The former Hyde Unitrd, Guiseley and Atherton Collieries forward stands at 6'4 and will add an extra element of physicality to a Colls side that scored 15 goals in seven league matches so far - the second-most of any side in the Pitching In NPL East Division.

A product of the Tranmere Rovers academy, Thompson made his name within non-league with Tadcaster Albion.

The club expect him to be available for their trip to Grantham Town this weekend.
