Radcliffe hand new deal to captain Nicky Adams

Radcliffe captain Nicky Adams has agreed a new 12-month deal with the club, with the option of a further year.

The 37-year-old has captained the club since his arrival from Oldham Athletic in the summer of 2022.

He became an immediate starter in a Radcliffe shirt and has continued to do so for the last two seasons.

He notched 17 assists in 43 appearances during the club's title-winning campaign, adding to his 15 assists in 49 appearances from the 2022/23 season.

Following confirmation of their promotion to the National League North, the club have been quick to tie down many of their first team squad to improved terms.

Radcliffe announced new deals for five of their players last month and have continued their summer business by handing deals to several more in recent days.

Earlier in the week, 2023/24 top scorer Jordan Hulme penned a new deal until the summer of 2026, having netted 25 times during his first season at the club.

Midfielder Isaac Modi and Saint Kitts and Nevis international Lois Maynard will also remain at the club, it has been confirmed.
