The experienced 45-year-old, pictured, met up with the EVO-STIK League North club's players for the first time on Thursday night at training and will be on the touchline alongside Macken for the first time on Saturday at Kendal Town.
The recruitment of the former Colwyn Bay, Hednesford Town and Brackley Town manager at Stainton Park was hailed by Macken and Radcliffe chairman Paul Hilton on Thursday as a signal of intent in a statement announcing his arrival.
Hilton said: “I am delighted to welcome Frank to the club. This is a great appointment and shows just how serious we are about making an impact with this club. Frank's experience and contacts at this level from his time in management will be a great resource along with his clear knowledge of the game from his successful playing career."

Macken said: “This is a great signing. I had a few different people in mind but after speaking with Frank it was clear he was struck by the ambition of the football club and wanted to be part of it. We have always got along and we have similar ideas and approaches to the game. So his appointment is only going to help me, help the team and boost the reputation of this club.”
Before taking his first steps in management as a player-manager saving Colwyn Bay from relegation, Sinclair also played for West Bromwich Albion, Huddersfield Town, Lincoln City, Wycombe Wanderers, Wrexham and in Non-League at Isthmian League Hendon.
After leaving Hednesford Town in April 2016 for a second time after briefly stepping down earlier in the season, Sinclair was most recent working as assistant manager to Stoke City's U23s.
