Steels snap up ex-Chesterfield defender

Stocksbridge Park Steels have completed the signing of Chesterfield defender Dan Grierson.
Grierson, who can also play in midfield, has been a regular part of Chesterfield's U21s for the last couple of years.
He has also featured for Northern Counties side Staveley Miners Welfare, playing for them during the 2022/23 campaign.
Following a successful trial with Steels, Grierson has agreed terms with the Pitching In NPL East Division side ahead of the new season.
Their 2023/24 campaign begins with a trip to Stockton Town on Saturday 12 August.
