Winger makes Avro move

Avro have announced the signing of Jack Anderton from Longridge Town.
Anderton, 22, began his senior career at the Ridge after coming through their reserves side, becoming the club’s top goalscorer during the 2021/22 season.
The young midfielder made the move to FC United of Manchester in the summer of 2022, where he made 10 appearances before returning back to the North West Counties League side.
Last season, Anderton made 26 appearances and scored seven goals.
He will go into contention for Avro’s next fixture at home to Widnes in the Northern Premier League on Saturday.
