James Hardy makes Robins return
Ashton United have signed Macclesfield midfielder James Hardy for an undisclosed fee.
Hardy returns to Hurst Cross having enjoyed a successful loan spell earlier in the campaign. He featured eight times in all competitions for the Robins, scoring twice.
He previously joined Macclesfield on a permanent deal at the start of 2023, having first impressed on loan from Buxton.
He went on to feature 30 times in all for the Silkmen.
Hardy made a goal-scoring return for Ashton United on Tuesday night, scoring the first of his side's two goals in a 2-2 draw away at Ilkeston Town.
