Harry Brockbank makes Radcliffe move

The 25-year-old made 31 appearances for his hometown club, featuring in the Championship, League One and League Two, earning the accolade of captaining the youngest-ever team in the club’s history.

He departed the Wanderers for the US in 2022, ending a 17-year tenure at the club, to join USL Championship side El Paso Locomotive, where he featured 11 times and scored twice.

In the summer of 2022, he made the move to League of Ireland Premier Division side St Patrick’s Athletic, reuniting with former Bolton teammate Eoin Doyle. During his time at the club, he made his European debut in a 1-1 draw against Slovenian PrvaLiga side NŠ Mura.

On signing for Radcliffe, Brockbrank said: “‘I’m delighted to have joined Radcliffe, I’ve been in training now for a few weeks and enjoyed my time getting to know the lads and working with the managers.

“Obviously the team has been doing well so far this season and I was hoping I could come in and help carry on the good form the lads are in, hopefully ending the campaign with some silverware to our name.

“I’ve got a few friends already here like Nicky and Luca and I’ve known the gaffers for a while now, so as soon as I heard about the interest it was something I wanted to be a part of. I’m just looking forward to getting out there now, start playing football and hopefully win something at the end of the year.”

Brockbank made his debut for Radcliffe, featuring as a second-half substitute in their 2-1 win away at Lancaster City on Tuesday night.
