Moore-Billam makes Gainsborough move

Gainsborough Trinity have brought in midfielder Jack Moore-Billam following his release from National League North side Scunthorpe United.

His arrival comes as the Holy Blues squad prepare to return to training next weekend.

Last season, Moore-Billam made nearly 30 appearances for Cleethorpes Town during an extended loan spell away from his parent club.

He was a popular member of an Owls side that finished 11th in the Pitching In NPL East Division.

Moore-Billam progressed through the youth ranks at Scunthorpe, making several first team appearances. He also signed his first professional deal with the club last summer.

"I am delighted to have signed for this club and I’m looking forward to the season ahead working under Bish [manager Neal Bishop]," Moore-Billam said.

"I can’t wait to get going and meet all the lads. Hopefully I can help the team push for promotion this season and see the club back where they deserve to be."
