The 34-year-old, pictured, was missing from Paul Carden's squad when they returned for pre-season training on Saturday after opting to prolong his playing career elsewhere.
Robinson, who scored the crucial goal in Warrington Town's 1-0 FA Cup first round win over Exeter City in 2014, left Cantilever Park last summer to do switch to Trafford, having ended the 2015-16 season as part of the coaching set-up.
Despite returning in November in a coaching capacity, Robinson regularly played in defence last term to help Carden ease his injury woes.
Paul Carden and chairman Toby Macormac also held a Q&A with club supporters after the club's first training session to discuss last season, progress on recruitment and their plans for the coming campaign in "an open and honest session". The event also saw the unveiling of the club’s new away shirt.
