1874 Northwich sign ex-Tranmere youngster

Talented young midfielder Eric Byrne has become 1874 Northwich's latest summer signing.
Byrne, 17, impressed during his first year in senior football last season with Runcorn Town.
Formerly with the Tranmere Rovers youth academy, he has featured in all of the club's pre-season games to date.
Byrne joins former Morecambe youth forward Jamie Nicholson in arriving at Townfield this week as the Greens ramp up preparations ahead of the new campaign.
