Accolades keep coming for hot-shot

The 32-year-old striker added United's Golden Boot', 'Manager's Player of the Year' and 'Player's Player of the Year' accolades to the EVO-STIK League South 'Player of the Year' and 'Golden Boot' he collected at the Northern Premier League's 2017-18 end of season awards in Blackpool for his 39 goals last term from vice-chairman Keith Brown, pictured.

Former Barrow, Chasetown, Eastwood Town, Grimsby Town, Harrogate Town, Hucknall Town, Ilkeston, Lincoln City, Mansfield Town and Quorn hot-shot Hearn wasn't only the player collecting honours at Greenwich Avenue on Saturday night. As Basford celebrated an EVO-STIK League and Notts Senior Cup double, the 'Supporters Player of the Year' award was won by defender Ash Grayson with James Reid taking the 'Goal of the Season', fellow midfielder Fernando Bell-Toxtle the 'Young Player of the Year' and keeper Saul Deeney the 'Outstanding Achievement' accolades.

Kieran Fenton collected the 'Chairman's Player of the Year' trophy as manager Martin Carruthers and his squad celebrated promotion to the EVO-STIK League's top flight.

A club spokesperson said: "Basford United chairman Chris Munroe paid tribute to all who had contributed to an outstanding season and stressed his confidence for the future."
